Getting back hope

Sometimes, I wake up wondering where the happiest moment went, why I’m left with disappointment and anger.

Are you at a point where everything feels meaningless? That everything you do just doesn’t matter anymore?

That’s OK. It’s human instinct to go through something like this at some point in life. I get unmotivated for no reasons at times. It’s unexplainable, but all of us experience this.

Forget The Haters

Not surprisingly, negative people can influence your own emotions.

You ever had people tell you that you can’t do something because you aren’t fit for it? You know what I say? I say forget the haters. They don’t know what it’s like to be in my shoes. Half of the time, they don’t know what you and I have gone through.

I want you to quit listening to those negative naysayers. Trust your belief and intuition from now on.

I fully trust myself. I focus on the positive crowds and those like-minded. Start surrounding yourself with these kinds of people, or you’ll continue be captivated by the negative energy.

If you were happy before, then you’re damn right you can get yourself back up there again. And don’t tell me that you can’t, because that’s the talk of failure.

Hate me for saying this?

Then that’s fine with me. As long as I’m telling you the truth, it doesn’t matter what you want me to say. It’s the damn truth. And it just hurts sometimes. You know what else? The truth will also help when taken seriously.

But sometimes, it hurts so much that you are taken back by it. You don’t know how to respond to it other than rationalizing it yourself. When this happens, you make yourself feel better, but you also dig a deeper hole inside you.

The reality is that people rationalize too much. They become disillusioned themselves.

Whenever you want opinions, you want to hear what you like, not what you don’t like.

You go to your friends or family, and you ask them opinions because you know that they’ll unconditionally tell you what you want to hear. But I dare you, for one day, to go ask a crowd of strangers or critics for their opinions, because these people put no mercy into consideration.

And that’s the only way to get better… Is if you face non-bias opinions. It’s time to face the truth

Get Yourself Moving

So are you still feeling unmotivated? If you are, I have bad news. It’s not going to change.

If I were to tell you one important thing, it’s that you better not quit what you’re doing.

Someone says that you suck at it? Or that your destiny isn’t meant to be? Then learn to know the difference between constructive criticisms and hateful comments. If you ever intend to reach to the highest level of your game, you’re going to have haters.

At the same time, you’re going to expand your own fans and audience. Concentrate on those that give you positive vibes, but at the same time, get to know how constructive criticisms can make you better. Be willing to change and adapt.

Whatever you do, don’t even think about quitting. Don’t give in because you realize that you aren’t who you thought you were. You may very well be that person; you just haven’t reached your full potential yet.

It’s up to you to keep moving. It’s your responsibility to do what you can to prove that you are that person. But the only way to make this happen is if you trust your belief and intuition. So keep moving, and believe in yourself.

  1. I agree, whatever you do, don’t ever quit. No matter what your situation is, try to tap into your personal power and brilliance so that you can live with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the life force that flows through you and it is your divine birthright.

Very inspiring. I think everyone gets in a rut occasionally. The key is identifying the circumstances that led up to the low point and implementing controls or anchors to prevent future occurrences.

    • Dennis says:

Hi Billy! I agree with what you are saying. Identifying what’s the root of the problem and fixing it from there on. Great one :)

  3. I never feel like life is meaningless. The point of life is to be happy. I’m not happy 100% of the time, but I certainly enjoy as much as I can, and I feel fulfilled in my life as I move toward my goals.

    • Dennis says:

That’s true as well. I guess we can’t be happy all the time. As long as we try to enjoy the present as much as possible, that’s enough for anyone to ask.
